This is great PR. With all due respect though, the journal is the
Journal of Communication, no "s." Some of my colleagues in the field
are very picky about this.
Communications connotes the professional, applied side of our field
whereas many departments emphasizing their research on human
interaction and media now often adopt "communication" for their names
or descriptions.
