Dear SKAT Members,

I am writing to invite you to submit nominations (including self nominations) for the following SKAT offices:

Chair-Elect (1)  (2 years)
Council Member (2)  (2 years)
Student (1)  (1 year)

Duties of the Chair-Elect involve organizing the annual meeting program and assisting the Chair as needed.

Duties of Council Members are varied and may include one of the following:  serving on section award committees, soliciting nominations for elections, or generating new membership. Opportunities exist to organize other events at the ASA and regional meetings and to organize sessions.

Duties of the Student member include service on committees and organizing events at the ASA and regional meetings.

Nominations are due December 15, 2008.

Please send nominations to frickel at wsu.edu. Please include the nominee's email address, as I will need to contact them directly.
