Subject: Invitation--Interpersonal Relations and Social Patterns in
    Communication Technologies: Discourse Norms,
     Language Structures and Cultural Variables

Dear Colleague,

I am sending you this invitation because of what my research reveals about
your expertise in the areas of social interactions in computer mediated
communication. As an editor, I'd like to cordially invite you to submit a
proposal for a book entitled Interpersonal Relations and Social
Patterns in Communication Technologies: Discourse Norms, Language
Structures and Cultural Variables.

The book will aim, through an interdisciplinary perspective, to explore
three fundamental components of CMC: language, interpersonal
relations/communication and information technology. It will also aim to
provide relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research
findings in the area. It also aims to address the impact of interpersonal
discourse in the building of online communities and in the design of
interaction systems and social technology.

I hope this would be of interest to you. It would be wonderful to have
your proposal. I'm attaching a call for chapter proposal onto this
message.

Best wishes,
Jung-ran
