[CITASA] Submit a session proposal for ASA 2010 Atlanta

Dear CITASA members,
 
The theme of the 2010 meeting in Atlanta has been announced, as has the
call for thematic sessions.
 
I would urge every member of the section to submit a proposal for a
thematic or invited session. The section is allocated only three
sessions at the annual meetings, every additional session organized by a
section member greatly increases the opportunity for everyone to present
their work.
 
The theme of the 2010 Annual Meeting will be "Toward a Sociology of
Citizenship". Thematic Session proposals are due by November 14, 2008.
Proposals for other non-thematic invited sessions, seminars or
workshops, as well as nominations of books for Author Meets Critic
sessions, should be submitted by January 30, 2009. For the complete
