[CITASA] question from a colleague

Hi,
I have a colleague who is teaching a graduate-level summer course and would like to address social capital, specifically in terms of the way in which it connects to social media.  She asked me if I knew of any good (short, even journalistic) articles that push back on Putnam and claim that people are building authentic social capital online.  Can anyone help with any suggestions for her?
